Ultrasonic Scaling for maximum plaque removal

In addition to hand scaling, our office employs ultrasonic scalers that use high frequency vibrations to gently remove plaque from both above and below the gum line.

Prophy Jet® Polish

The Prophy Jet® system removes dark surface stains and leaves a smooth polished surface. The high power spray uses water and baking soda to cleanse and polish the teeth. The Prophy Jet® is a state-of-the-art technology that offers greatly improved results over the traditional mechanical paste/brush method.

Antibiotic Gum Disease Therapies

In addition to soft tissue management of gum disease, we selectively use Arestin® antibiotics to moderate the progression of gum disease. This is done in combination with deeper scaling and root planning under local anesthesia. If more severe gum disease is evident, we will refer you to a periodontal specialist.
